National Sales Manager

Dealers Ingredients Inc. has been a leader in the food ingredient industry since 1976.
Dealers drives growth for our customers through the provision of natural ingredients and ingredient solutions. We do this by delivering comprehensive application solutions using the ingredients we represent and at times those we do not. In 2015 Dealers brought its own ingredient, Profi Pro to market. Profi Pro is a vegetable protein powder which is used in many finished good applications. An affiliated company Profi Pro Inc. was formed in 2016 to bring Profi Pro to the consumer market.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven National Sales Manager. This position will be reporting directly to the President & CEO. You will be working with food manufacturers and processors as well as food retailers and end use consumers in Canada and the United States. As National Sales Director, you will use your creativity and thorough knowledge of the sales process to provide innovative ideas for growth.

 

Overview of Role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Achieve sales and budget goals for the solutions sold.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services and work to influence product roadmap and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain profitable new business relationships in Canada and the United States for both the B to B and B to C market.
  • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
  • Establish and maintain good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization’s image and develop new business.
  • Identify and monitor market trends and competitors’ actions to gain the competitive advantage.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Work closely with, motivate and provide daily support to internal partners.
  • Assist in identifying new product lines and develop strategies for their rollout to market.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • English/French bilingual verbal and written communication skills preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of the consumer retail market(s).
  • Excellent soft skills and likeability factor
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating and closing capabilities
  • Able to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Food Science and / or Business Administration
